A Very Merry Christmas Card with Gina K Winter Stampnfoil Card Instructions:

To begin, gather your supplies. Today we’ll be using the stamps, dies, and detail toner sheets from the new Holly Jolly collection, as well as Gina K Designs colors of inks and cardstocks in Innocent Pink, Cherry Red, and Turquoise Sea.

Cut a 3.5″ x 10″ strip of White Luxury cardstock, score it at 5″, and fold it in half to create a 3.5″ x 5″ card base. Trim a 3.5×5 piece of cherry red cardstock. Die cut the largest tag shape from the Decorative Tag die set from turquoise sea cardstock. Cut a strip of innocent pink cardstock that is slightly thinner than the tag.

Select the outline poinsettia image from the Holly Jolly stamp set, and stamp it repeatedly onto the red panel using matching red cherry ink. Select the small cluster of dots from the set, and stamp it randomly onto the pink cardstock using the matching innocent pink ink. Stamp the sentiment onto the bottom of the tag using red ink. Adhere the red panel to the card base. Cut a v-notch into the bottom end of the pink strip,  and then adhere it down the middle of the card. Add a bit of machine stitched detail to the top of the strip.

Using the poinsettia layer stamps, stamp the petals and leaf bracts onto the coordinating toner detail sheets. Die cut the poinsettias with the matching die.

Turn on your laminator and let it heat up. Place a piece of scrap cardstock between the sheets of a folded piece of parchment paper. Place the detail toner sheet die cuts face up onto the cardstock. Add a strip of Red Velvet Fancy Foil onto the die cuts, with the colored side up and the silver side down. Close the top sheet of parchment, and run this sandwich through your laminator.

Tie satin ribbon through the top of the tag, and then adhere the tag to the card base with 3D Adhesive Squares. Add a thin strip of pink stitched cardstock to the bottom of the tag. Stamp holly leaves onto Luxury White cardstock using turquoise ink, and then die cut them with the matching die. Adhere the leaves and poinsettias to the top of the tag, popping some of the layers up with 3D squares. Add enamel dots to the center of the flowers. Add dot detail to the background panel with a wax pencil.
