Hello Crafty Friends!!

Larissa here for my first official post as a Therm O Web Design Team member!!  I’m so excited to be here. Today I have a couple Easter Cards to share with you using some beautiful Deco Foils along with some Newton’s Nook Designs Products. I wanted to show you how easy it is to use up those beautiful leftover foil pieces you may have on hand after you’ve foiled the New Deco Foil Clear Designer Toner Foil sheets, Foil-Mates or maybe a stenciled designed you’ve created with Deco Foil Transfer Gel. Those leftover foiling sheets are pure gold, so lets put them to good use.

Easter Cards That Shine With Deco Foil Toner Sheets Instructions:

I’ve started by foiling the leftover Foil from the Gina K Designs Bold Backdrops Foil Mates onto a piece of Deco Foil Toner Sheet. Then I Foiled it with a piece of Silver Star Deco Foil and ended up with this AMAZING Two-Toned piece below.

For my first Card I started by Die Cutting my Oval for my Egg from the Foiled paper, then I added a Foiled Bow and Ribbon from an Aqua Deco Foiled Toner Sheet. I then Stamped and Embossed my Images and used Copic Markers to color them. Then I die cut them all of using the coordinating dies. I used the Sky Borders Die Set to create a cloud stencil, then used it to stencil my sky with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I die cut some Grass using the Land Borders Die Set and using Distress Inks to Ink it up.

I adhered my Foiled Egg in between my grass die cuts with some 3-D White Foam Squares and then layered the other images using some Zots Bling Dots. Some White Gel Pen and Black Gel Pen details were added to my images and some Glitter Pen to make the Eggs, Butterfly and little Bird Sparkle. A Sentiment Banner was Stamped and Embossed with the Easter Sentiment and adhered to the egg with another Zots Bling Dot. I adhered my Card Panel to the Frames & Flags Die Set Scalloped Panel using the Memory Tape Runner XL.

For my next card I created a similar design as my first Card except I used the leftover Foil from a Deco Foil Clear Designer Toner Sheet: Polka Dots, and foiled in onto a Deco Foil Toner Sheet. Then I used Aqua Deco Foil for a beautiful Two-Toned Sheet of Champagne Deco Foil and Aqua Deco Foil.

THANKS so much for stopping by today and I hope I’ve given you some ideas on ways you can use those leftover pieces of foil that you may have laying around. If you pull them out and create some Sweet Easter Cards for your Friends and Family, I hope you’ll share them with us on Social Media using the #thermoweb, #decofoil, because we enjoy seeing what you create. I love these cards and welcome to the Design Team. Sadly, I found this post very confusing. I’m new to foiling and all the different products here are overwhelming. It would have been so much better to see a video of how you put all these different foils and shapes together. I hope you’ll consider that in the future!

Thank you for your comment and we do try to include many video tutorials to go along with our projects. We would encourage you to visit our YouTube Channel for our Deco Foil 101 Series as well as many projects tutorials that show this same technique of using your leftover foil to then apply to the Deco Foil Toner Sheets for a second look. You’ll find those videos here: https://www.youtube.com/thermoweb
