Easy Bookmarks with DecoFoil and Toner Sheets Instructions:

For this project, I chose the Deco Foil Toner Sheets because they are a little bit thicker than plain scrapbook paper and I think they will hold up better as a bookmark.

First step..I added strips of DecoFoil to my toner sheets using my laminator.  I used Summer Rainbow, Emerald Water Color, and Rainbow DecoFoils.

After the sheets were foiled, I cut my bookmarks to 1.75″x6″.  The I added some sequins and glitter to each book mark.  The sequins and glitter are not adhered, but just rest loosely on top.

Next, I covered with a piece of acetate and stitched around the edges, making sure not to catch any sequins under the stitching line.

And that’s it!  My kids are in LOVE with these.  I let them pick out their own colors for sequin mix and thread.  As soon as I finished them, they said to each other “Let’s go read!”.   Hope your book lovers like this project, too!
