Deco Foil Flock Home Decor

Choose a cut design from Cricut Design Space for your project. I chose the Fall In Love cut from Fall Sweet Fall. I sized the image at 5.75 x 5.75.

For this project, cut a piece of white cardstock 6 x 6 and then layer a sheet of Easy-Cut adhesive over one side. Placing the non-adhesive side face down, cut the design. I used the Posterboard setting so it cut the design twice.

Next, weed away the excess cardstock to reveal the cut design. Then pull off the adhesive and place a sheet of the Tuscan Gold flock face down and run it through your favorite die-cutting machine as if you were embossing something.

The result will be the cardstock die, pressed into the flock as pictured below.

Gently pull away from the cardstock from the flock to reveal your flocked die-cut design.

Using our Mixed Media Adhesive, I glued the die-cut, flocked designs to the center of the canvas embroidery hoop. I purchased this ready-made hoop with the canvas already inside from JoAnn’s. For the lettering, I added out metal tip since many of the areas required a fine application of a small amount of the adhesive and pressed them into the canvas center of the hoop.

Next, using the Mixed Media Adhesive and some rope, I traced the shape of the hoop and pressed the rope into the frame and held for a few minutes to set. I then set it aside to dry for 30 minutes.

To finish the project, I made a bow with wired ribbon and added some sprays of flowers for accent.

This project took approximately 1 hour and was not difficult to put together. Using our Deco Flock and Easy-Cut adhesive sheets with your favorite die cuts is a fun and easy way to create a variety of projects.
