We’re back today with a Fashion Friday! Today’s project shows you how important it is to keep on hand our NEW HeatnBond® Soft Stretch to finish out those hems perfectly! Designer Jenifer Cowles has created a fun Kimono that she finished off the hem with our HeatnBond Soft Stretch.

Fashion Friday – Easy Kimono Top Featuring Girl Charlee Knits

HeatnBond® Soft Stretch Lite Roll

 Fabric Cutting:

1 ½ yards of Main fabric-follow cutting directions in the pattern

 Other Supplies:

Free Pattern on Babble, erasable marking pen, Iron (Oliso Pro), sewing machine, sharp scissors, other general sewing supplies

Kimono Hem Instructions:

  1. Fuse the Heat N Bond Soft Stretch Lite Roll down on the edge of all seams that need to be hemmed.

2.  Peel off the paper backing.

3. Fold over and fuse using the width of the tape as your hem width.

4. Sew it down.

This is a quick and easy way to give your knits a nice beautiful finish without gunking up your sewing machine needles.
