Hi!
I love summer!!! It is my favorite time of year because it means being able to hang outside and have lots and lots of summer fun with friends and family.  I also love making summer cards for our little parties and get-togethers!

Foiled Stamp All3

Foiling with Stamps {and Pineapples} Gina K. Style!

For these cards, I stamped them with Versamark watermark ink, heat embossed them and then added foil! Easy peasy (and super fun)!

I created a video, sharing how incredibly easy it to make cards using stamps and foil!

Don’t forget to test out your stamps first, before guessing that the foil will work.  I have found that the best stamps that work are thinner designs, but in the video, these thick pineapples work well, too!

I tried this with embossing powder and my laminator also. Your results are much better! I used a much fuller lined Pineapple and the embossing spread so far in the laminator that I ended up wth almost fully foiled pineapples! I’ll keep experimenting. I’m determined to have gold foil on them! =D

Keep practicing! Some stamps work better than others. In general, stamps with thinner outlines do seem to hold the foil better, but I’ve found that each stamp is different. 🙂 You will get it! It took me a few tries, too!
