Hello there! I am super excited to share today’s project.  I wanted to create a tool caddy from an embroidery hoop.

Foxy Embroidery Hoop Caddy with HeatnBond

This concept has been around for quite some time.  I wanted to make it unique and fun.  I started with these gorgeous fabrics from Windham Fabrics!  I just love this collection!  Who says a fox has to be orange, anyway?

HeatnBond Ultra or HeatnBond Lite Adhesive make this adorable little guy a super easy, no-sew project!  That’s right.. there is not one single stitch of sewing.

I even used HeatnBond Ultrahold Fusible Adhesive on the felt to adhere the layers together as well as to apply the layered felt to the pocket.  The raw edges of the pocket were secured with Heatnbond Hem Tape.

I think it would be really fun to make several woodland creatures and make them not only a functional storage solution in your craftroom, but also a decorative touch.

I hope you enjoy the step by step tutorial I have prepared for you!
