Hi, this is Mona Tóth, and today I have another video tutorial for you! Let’s make together a lemonade card with the Sending Sunshine Stamp n Stencil set by Rina K. Designs.

Summery Lemonade Card

I am in love with the Sending Sunshine set, It’s a real must-have summer set. One of my favorite parts is the citrus solid stamp, and today I am going to show you, how you can create with this set more realistic citrus slices like on my card, where the lemon has white parts as well.

I started the cardmaking process with a second-generation stamping technique that I learned from Jennifer McGuire. Be sure to check this process in my video on the Therm O web’s Youtube Channel.

The next step was the ink blending. I am always using the Purple Tape on my fingers to avoid fingerprints on my card. I wanted to create fresh lemonade colors. For my First Card I have used the Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink, then The Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink, and to the bottom, I applied a little Orange Glow Electro Pop Neon Ink to make it more vibrant.  When It was done, I splattered on it with water and white watercolor.

The next step was the die-cutting. First, I created small ice cubes with the smallest die from the Stitched Squares Dies by Heffy Doodle. I run it with Vellum through my Die-cut machine. Next, I created my own sentiment as well with the Stitched Alphabetters Dies by Heffy Doodle. I have used the Turquoise Sea Premium Cardstock by Gina K Designs.

Now it’s time to put together the card. Because this is a lemonade card, I am going to create the cold lemonade effect with vellum. First, I am putting together the background. I am adhering some leaves and fruit slices to the background, with the Tape Runner XL and ice cubes as well.

Next, I am covering my card with Vellum. I cut a slightly bigger piece of vellum then my card. I put it on the scoring board and marked the folding lines. Next, I am running my Tape Runner XL adhesive on the back of my card and adhering the vellum on it. But before I am closing the top of the vellum, I am adding some extra ice cubes and clear sequins to create a shaker part and finally, I can close it.

In the end, I put my card together and it was ready! It’s soo tasty right? (I just need to get some lemonade right now!)  I hope you have enjoyed my project for today. If you have any questions feel free to ask in a comment. Thanks for stopping by, Mona
