Fuse one to the back of the pumpkin.  Quilt with Aurifil 12 wt. thread.  Use a longer stitch when using this weight. Love this, have a bunch of short 1.5″ orange strips left over from easter and last fall. Think I will sew them together in a jelly roll jam fashion. Cutting scrappy strips for the pumpkin shape and adding the sweet heart will make an adorable heat/pot holder. I will be adding isu-lbright to the pot holder to make it heat resistant. My daughter in law and BFF’s will love getting one of these.
