Since October is the official month for National Breast Cancer Awareness I thought it would be fitting to kick off the month with a project I created using the Me & My BIG Ideas Breast Cancer Awareness collection and an assortment of Therm O Web adhesive. The white painted wooden letters that serve as the base are available at almost any major craft store.

I used each letter as a template to trace out the paper and then used my SuperStik Permanent Glue Stick to adhere the paper to the wooden base.

I used an iCraft dot between each layer of the flower – securely holds them in place without adding any bulk.

The other letters were created in much the same way… I used the Tape Runner to adhere the words and Zots to adhere the chipboard elements.

Here’s hoping for a cure SOON and to a future where we don’t need to have a month dedicated to cancer. Thanks so much for stopping by today.
