If you’re behind on your holiday cards list this year like me, have no fear! I create New Year’s cards for the rest of my list and send them just after Christmas day. Here are a couple of quick ideas.

For the Happy New Year card, start with a sheet of the DECO FOIL™ PEELNSTICK TONER SHEETS and run it thru the laminator with the GINA K. DESIGNS FANCY FOILS™ 6″ X 8″ • RADIANT RED. Now you are ready to cut it with your choice of number dies. Create your card base for the card. I used the backside of the 4×6 vertical elements from Simple Stories Very Merry collection. Next layer a foiled piece of the GINA K. DESIGNS FOIL-MATES™ BACKGROUNDS • HOLIDAY FLORA. Then I added a die cut circle with forest trees and peeled the backing off the foiled peel and stick sheet and adhere to the center of the card. Finish it off with the New Years Sentiment and some twine.

For the Happy Happy New Year card using the other half of the foiled  DECO FOIL™ PEELNSTICK TONER SHEETS to cut out some larger bold numbers. Create the card base and adhere the Simple Stories Very Merry Tis the Season. Cut the middle of the card base away and adhere a piece of acetate. Then cut a 4 1/3 x 5 1/2 sheet of the Simple Stories Very Merry 4×6 Vertical Elements and adhere to the inside of the card to create the window effect. Then peel off the numbers and adhere them onto the acetate.

Stamp the sentiment and finish with twine.

I hope these ideas will help inspire you to create some New Years cards with Deco Foil and Simple Stories products!
