Please help us in welcoming Amy to the Therm O Web blog!
Hi, there!  I am Amy, from Sew Incredibly Crazy.
I have a love of applique and always trying
something new.  Like most of us,
I don’t have a lot of time, so I am always looking
for ways to make fun and fast projects.

If time is not on your side and you need a
baby shower gift or a new bib for your little one,
this will  take you less than an hour to put
Supplies that you will need are:
1 – 12″x12″ piece of fabric for bib front
1 – 12″x12″ piece of fabric or fleece for bib back
fabric scraps for letters
First, you can use the bib pattern that is
found here or trace around your favorite one.
Lay pattern at fold of material.
Cut one for the front and one for
the back of the bib.
 With your fabric squares or
fabric scraps,
pick a few of your favorite
I chose four different colors
in  gender neutral tones.
Follow the instruction on your
your letters

Arrange the letters on the bib
and iron in place.
Cut your piece of  HeatnBond® Iron-on Vinyl to the exact shape
of the bib.
Follow the instructions
on the vinyl
and iron to the front of the bib.

Get the bib front and back,
put right sides together and sew
around the edge with a 1/4″ seam allowance.
Leave a large enough gap
to turn the bib right side out.
I did this at the bottom of the bib
leaving a 2″ space.
Clip your inside curves.
Turn the bib right side out.
At your 2″ space you allowed for
turning.  Fold the fabric to the
inside of the bib.
Use a top stitch around
 the perimeter of the bib.
Apply your favorite closure to the
back of the bib.
There you have it.  You are now finished!

Enjoy giving a bib to a sweet little one.

Sew glad that you joined me.
