HeatnBond Soft Stretch Halloween Ghoul Shirt Tutorial

Hi friends, Alicia here again from Sew What Alicia. It is that fun time of year again when we get to dress up and wear outrageous outfits for the holidays! I am a HUGE Maroon 5 fan so I had a little fun with their song lyrics to create this adorable ghoul file! Grab the free file below and then get to crafting!

HeatnBond Soft Stretch Halloween Ghoul Shirt Tutorial

Supplies:

HeatnBond Soft Stretch Fusible Adhesive

Shirt or Onesie

Deco Foil Hot Melt Adhesive and Deco Foil Transfer Sheets or Gina K Designs Fancy Foils in Twinkling Pink (OR Heat Transfer Vinyl)

Ghoul Cut File

Halloween Ghoul Shirt Instructions:

The first step is to cut a square of cotton fabric and press it to the HeatnBond Soft Stretch.

This is a really versatile file. You can use it for so many different projects. The first step is to choose where you want to put the file. Make the file bigger or smaller depending on where you want to place it. Then cut the file out using your cutting machine as follows:

  • Cut the ghost outline onto the bonded fabric square.
  • Cut the face details and the bow using hot melt adhesive.
  • (For Tips on working with Deco Foil Hot Melt Adhesive see this Video.)
  • Cut the words using hot melt adhesive or heat transfer vinyl.

Next place all the pieces onto your shirt or onesie (or tote or kitchen towel or whatever craft blank you are using!)

Use your heat source to adhere the images to the shirt.

That is it! You are finished. I think this is the MOST adorable little Halloween shirt EVER!!!!!!

Thanks for letting me share this fun project with you!
