I had so much fun playing with the awesome September kit club from Cocoa Daisy. All the happy prints and colors from the patterned papers seemed the perfect fit for this fun photo I’ve had sitting on my desk forever of my sweet scrapping girlfriends. I’ve been waiting for just the right fun papers to match this group of fun friends, and I finally found them.

I noticed that most of us were wearing blue and green in the photo, so I pulled out the blue papers to start with to create my layers, adding in pops of accent color throughout.

The exclusive Cocoa Daisy kit stamps were a fun way to create a unique border across the top and bottom of my page. Thin strips of patterned papers help ground the stamped designs.

AudreyPettitThermOWebCocoaDaisyHappyGals4The center of the page is just lots and lots of layers of papers and all the fun embellishments that come in the kit. I added a couple of journaling cards as photo mats and used the transparency slide frames as fun accents. Therm O Web’s SuperTape™ is a fabulous way to adhere transparencies without the adhesive showing through.

I used some of the leftovers from my layout to create this quick and easy card.

Therm O Web Mini Tape Runner
Therm O Web 3D Foam Adhesive Squares
Therm O Web Medium Zots™ Clear Adhesive Dots

Trim: May Arts

Border Punch: Stampin’Up

AudreyPettitThermOWebCocoaDaisyCoffeeCard2I really loved this fun coffee journaling card, and wanted it to be the star of the show. So I used just a few layers of paper to frame the phrase, and tied a bit of trim around the bottom. The feather cardstock sticker added just that bit of unexpected whimsy.

I even finished the inside of the card with another of the adorable journaling cards included in the kit.
