It’s Katrina from Paper, Scissors and Glue sharing a layout today on the blog. Gold, it’s everywhere right now. I feel like I craft a lot with it, but it works so well with anything! Deco Foil™ in Gold goes great with those scrapbooking collections that have gold embellishments in them also. Let’s take a look!

I started with my title and die cut it from a toner sheet that I had printed out. You can see below what it looked like before it was covered in the DecoFoil™. I then ran it thru my laminator with iCraft® Deco Foil™ in Gold. After the die cut was covered with foil, I backed with various pattern papers using the Sticky Dots Sheets in Small.
By backing the die cut with pattern paper, this allows the use of foam squares to pop up the die cut from the background paper. Decorate die cut with smaller embellishments, such as sequins, enamel dots, etc. Gold goes with everything!
Attach sequins with Zots™ Small or Zots™ Bling. Also attach wood veneers and other embellishments that are small with either of these two products.
Continue to finish layout using the Sticky Tape Mini Runner, 3D Foam Squares in 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch, and Zots™ as needed. See how well the gold just blends! I love the fact that Deco Foil™ will coordinate with all the gold embellishments that are out on the market right now!
