Hi, friends!  Are you enjoying the collaboration with Ink On 3?  Both teams have pulled out the stops this week to inspire you and show lots of ways you can combine products from both of these fabulous companies!  Today, I have two cards to share with you.

For my projects I chose to work with Ink On 3’s Dogwood Flower and Fox & Bunny Hugs stamp sets and their Leafy Forest Stencil.

My first card features the Dogwood Flower set.  I stamped the bouquet three times with Fadeout Ink and used my Copics to do some no-line coloring.  Aren’t the flowers gorgeous?!  I fussy-cut them and then set them aside to work on my background.

Creating a Background with Flock

Onto an A2 panel of white cardstock, I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Ink in the right corner and faded it towards the center for an ombre effect.  After applying Pixie Spray to the back of the Leafy Forest Stencil, I spread Transfer Gel Duo with a palette knife, stopping where my ink ended.  I left the gel to dry for awhile and then applied Emerald Green Flock with my laminator.

Adding Foil to a Stamped Image

I decided to give those beautiful flowers a bit of shine.  I made tiny dots in the flowers’ centers with the Deco Foil Adhesive Pen.  After the adhesive dried (It takes less than a minute to dry.), I applied Lily Pad Deco Foil with my laminator.  I love the different colors this foil takes on, and it’s so shiny!

Assembling the Card

I trimmed down my background panel to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and stamped a sentiment from the Dogwood Flower set with Blackout Ink.  I adhered my images onto the panel with a combination of Mixed Media Adhesive and Gina K. Designs’ White Foam Squares, creating depth with layers.

I trimmed the excess from my images and adhered the panel to a white card with Gina K. Designs’ White Foam Tape.  For a little sparkle, I attached some gems from my stash with Mixed Media Adhesive.

I just adore this sweet image from Ink On 3’s Fox & Bunny Hugs!  This time I stamped the image with Blackout Ink and watercolored with my Zigs (This ink is my new, go-to ink as it is also great for alcohol markers!).  I fussy-cut the adorable pair and then got to work on the card.

Embossing Flock

After applying Pixie Spray to the back of the Leafy Forest Stencil, I blended a strip of Green Envy Flock with Ink On 3’s Goddess Green Atelier Ink.  To emphasize the pattern, I used my die-cutting machine to dry emboss with the stencil.  As there was still a bit of residue on the stencil from the Pixie Spray, a tiny amount of the flock peeled off when I removed the stencil.  I didn’t mind, though, because I think it only enhances the pattern.

Creating Custom Mirror Cardstock

To add a bit of shine to my card, I decided to create my own mirror cardstock.  I cut a piece of Deco Foil Toner Sheet and applied Enchanted Rose Deco Foil with my laminator.  I then die-cut the piece with a heart die from my stash.

Putting It All Together

I embossed tan cardstock with a woodgrain embossing folder, trimmed down the panel, and adhered it to a white card with Mixed Media Adhesive.  I trimmed my embossed flock and attached it with the Memory Tape Runner XL.  With the same heart dies, I die-cut a vellum heart, which I adhered to the foiled one with Mixed Media Adhesive.  I layered the hearts onto my card with Gina K. Designs’ White Foam Tape.

I attached those cute critters with Gina K. Designs’ White Foam Squares.  After heat-embossing a sentiment from the Dogwood Flower set, I affixed the sentiment strip with foam tape.  I finished with a scattering of pink gems, which I adhered with Mixed Media Adhesive.
