Hi there, Jennifer Jangles here. Last week you got to see loads of projects using my A Walk in The Woods fabrics collection from the talented designers here at Thermoweb. Today I thought I would show you the projects that I have sewn up from the project booklet that coordinates with the A Walk in the Woods fabric. The booklet has patterns for a wall quilt, placemats, a table runner, stuffed pumpkins, napkins, and napkin rings.

Right now I have the fall table runner as well as three stuffed pumpkins adorning my kitchen table.

I pull out the placemats when we eat dinner. There are four different designs so everyone in the family gets there own.

Unfortunately I can’t hang my wall quilt in my kitchen because I have more windows than wall space. But if I had a wall bug enough it would be hanging there for sure.

I get asked a lot about my preference for fusible webbing when I appliqué. I always use HeatnBond® Lite. It’s there perfect weight to get things held in place on quilting fabric, but it doesn’t make the fabric stiff once it’s appliquéd. Every project here was made with HeatnBond® Lite and because I like the security of having things ironed in place before sewing, I used Thermowebs Fusible Fleece for my place mats. It was so easy to quilt them because I didn’t have to use pins to keep them in place.

Happy Fall!

Jennifer

Can I purchase your instruction booklet for the fabric pumpkins?
