Brutus Monroe for Deco Foil Fall 2019 Collection

Hi everyone! It’s Lynnea back to inspire you with some fun Halloween goodies made with the NEW Brutus Monroe for Deco Foil Fall 2019 Release!

The new Brutus Monroe Deco Foil Transfer Sheets and Designer Toner Sheets are AMAZING! There are 8 new Designer Toner Sheets and 3 new Foil Transfer Sheets. I paired the Halloween themed Designer Toner Sheets with the Simple Stories Say Cheese Halloween 12 x 12 Collection Kit! They go together perfectly!

Halloween Cards with Brutus Monroe

I made three Halloween cards mixing and matching the Brutus Monroe Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, Designer Toner Sheets, and the Simple Stories Say Cheese Halloween patterned papers and stickers! I altered the layouts and products I used on each card slightly, but I used iCraft 3D Foam Squares and iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive to adhere my elements onto all three cards.

I know the rule of thumb is to save the best for last, but I just love this first card so much that I can’t wait! The Brutus Monroe Designer Toner Sheets come with a white background and a clear background for each design. For the other two cards I used the white backgrounds, but for this first card I used the Clear Carved Designer Toner Sheet. I cut a piece down to be slightly smaller than a card front and ran it through my laminator with a piece of Orange Sketch Brutus Monroe Foil with a parchment paper carrier sheet on the 5 mil setting. It’s important to let your laminator get super hot. I let mine heat up about 10 mins after the “ready” light comes on. I LOVE the way the foil transfers to the toner sheet! Perfect! I hid iCraft 3D Foam Squares behind the Carved Toner Sheet and added it to a piece of patterned paper from the Simple Stories Say Cheese Collection. I added two sentiment sticker strips on top to finish the card.

I used the Carved Designer Toner Sheets again for my second card. Rather than using a large panel on my card I decided to cut out individual pumpkins and add them to my card as embellishments! I cut out various sizes and shapes of pumpkins from the Carved Designer Toner Sheets and added some yellow to the eyes and mouths with alcohol markers. I foiled the pumpkins with two of the new Brutus Monroe Deco Foil Transfer SheetsOrange Sketch and Gold Static. I also used an older color – Purple Sketch – because what’s Halloween without a splash of purple!? I added my foiled pumpkins to a striped Simple Stories patterned paper background and a die-cut sentiment!

I couldn’t let my collection of Halloween cards go without using the Haunted Brutus Monroe Designer Toner Sheets. The distressed haunted houses are super spooky! I fell in love with the bats patterned paper from the Simple Stories Say Cheese Halloween collection as well as the adorable stickers! I created a witchy scene and needed a spooky house for the background. I foiled a piece of the Haunted Designer Toner Sheet with Green Sketch Brutus Monroe Deco Foil Transfer Sheet and trimmed around it to leave a white border to match my stickers.

It took me about 30 minutes of searching find this post to comment on, but I learned some new things along the way.
Most sponsors do not know that the rafflecopter form separates from their blog post once it is shared, so there’s no way to get to the post other than searching for it and hoping you can actually find it…. eventually. It’s nothing but the giveaway form period, once it is shared.
