This is Jenifer Cowles here with you today to share a super cute Rainbow Unicorn pillow.  I LOVE it, I think it turned out so cute and I just happen to have a 7-year-old friend that is going to love it, LOL.  When I found this free pattern I just knew I was going to make it in rainbow, because what goes together better than rainbows and unicorns?

Follow the instructions on the pattern, when you get to the eyes and nose you have a few options like embroidery or applique.  I chose to use Deco Foil to really make these details sparkle.

First, cut out the design in the Deco Foil Hot Melt Adhesive and adhere it to the fabric.

For best results wait for the Hot Melt adhesive to cool completely before peeling away the foil paper backing.  Then adhere the Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, again wait for it to cool completely before peeling away the foil.

Looking for help on how to use the Deco Foil Hot Melt…here’s a helpful video!

Its like magic every time I peel the foil away, I just love it.

Here is another close up of the unicorn.  I followed the rest of the pattern almost exactly except for the horn I used a piece of Fusible Fleece adhered to the fabric and then stuffed it with filling hoping to make it a bit more stable.  I can’t wait to hear how my little friend likes it.

Happy Spring!!- Jenifer
