Hello Crafty Friends!!

Larissa here today to share a Trio of Sending Prayers and Sympathy Cards!! These are probably one of the Hardest types of Cards to make for me personally, just because I know that they’ll be used for the loss of someone loved, or during a difficult time for someone loved!! I do however feel that they are an IMPORTANT Card to create and have in your stash, so I’m going to give you some ideas today!!

Sympathy Cards with Deco Foil

I’m showing 3 different ways to use the Simon Says Stamp Outline Floral Cross Die to create several Cards with different levels of difficulty!! I LOVE being able to STRETCH my supplies and the AWESOME thing about these designs is they can also be used for SEVERAL other occasions, just by changing out the Sentiment!! Think Baptism, Easter, First Communion or Birthday Cards!! Just a few other ways to make the Design stretch for other Occasions while you’ve got your supplies out!!

I started by Die Cutting the SSS Outline Floral Cross Image 4 times from some Gina K Designs Luxury White Cardstock!! I adhered them together using some iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive!! I Die Cut the Image again from some Deco Foil Toner Sheets that I foiled with Gina K Designs Fancy Foils in Glimmering Gold!! Then adhered it to the Top of the Stacked Die Cuts using more iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive!!
Next, I foiled the NEW Deco Foil Unity Card Fronts in the Floral Background pattern using the same Gina K Design Fancy Foils in Glimmering Gold!! I wanted the Floral Design to POP so I used Copic Markers to color in the Floral Images!! I Die Cut an extra Outline Floral Cross from some Scrap Cardstock and sprayed the backside of it with some of the Pixie Spray!!
TIP: Did you know it can be used as a removable adhesive for turning your Die Cut Images into Stencils of your own!!??
I Sprayed the backside of the Die cut and adhered it to the Oval Cardstock piece and then used Copic Markers to color in the Flowers!! I use: Y00, Y11 & YR23   YG61, YG63 & YG67  R00, R11 & R22   V0 & V15  N0 & N3

I removed the Cardstock Stencil I created and Adhered the Stacked Foiled Outline Floral Cross Image over the top of the Coloring lining up the Images using some iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive!! Then adhered the Oval to the Foiled NEW Flower Background  Unity Card Panel using some Gina K Designs Foam Tape!! A Stamped Sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words Faith Stamp Set in MFT Grout Grey Ink to finish off the Design!! I LOVE the way turned out!!

Praying for You Sympathy Card

For the Next Card, I started by adhering the Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets in Black Velvet to the Deco Foil Foam Adhesive Sheet!! I ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to set the Flock (just for pressure!) and then I Die Cut it using the Simon Says Stamp Outline Floral Frame Die!! It cuts like a Dream!!Next, I cut a Card Panel for my Card from some Simple Stories Patterned Paper!! I Die Cut the SSS Outline Floral Frame Die Cut from some Cardstock and made for a Stencil and used it to ink the Images onto my Card Panel!! I used some Pixie Spray to help hold it in place beings its such a detailed Stencil and added some Purple Tape too just for extra security!! I used SEVERAL Distress Ink Colors to make each of the Images POP!! I LOVE the Spring Color Palette!!

Pixie Spray

I Die Cut the SSS Outline Floral Frame from some Woodgrain Patterned Paper and then Die Cut it from some of the Black Velvet Deco Foil Flock and layered the two together for a very NEAT Cross Image!! I used the SSS Outline Floral Cross Stencil I made for the first Card and used it again to Ink the Images onto the Oval Die-Cut Base using the same Distress Ink Color!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the SSS Tiny Words Faith Stamp Set and then I adhered the SSS Outline Cross Image over the Inked Design onto the Oval Die Cut using iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive!!

The texture really PACKS a PUNCH on this design and is SO BEAUTIFUL!! To add a little Sparkle and even more dimension, I added some Tonic Studios Glitter Nuvo Drops to the Center of the Flowers!! Sparkle makes me HAPPY and takes this Card Design to that next level!!

Sympathy Cross Card

For the last card, I’ve used the SSS Outline Floral Cross Image and Die Cut it several times from some Gina K Designs Luxury White Cardstock adhering them all together to create a dimensional Image!!

Then I Die Cut it from some Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil that was foiled to some of the Deco Foil Toner Sheets!! I then adhered it to the top of the Stacked Die Cuts using iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive!! I just LOVE the way these stacked Images look!! STUNNING!!

I wanted to Inlay the Design this time using some of the different Deco Flock Colors!! So I Die Cut them from White Latte, Pink Carnation, Green Envy, and Emerald Green Deco Foil Flock Sheets!!

After I had all of them Die Cut I applied Distress Inks with ink daubers to the edges of the Images to help make them POP and give them a little more dimension!! This step isn’t necessary, but I really fell like it’s worth it for the finished results!!

I foiled the Brutus Monroe Designer Toner Sheets in the Crosshatch Design using some Deco Foil in Pink Quarts and then added some Black Soot Distress Paint Splatters!! I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment from the SSS Tiny Words Faith Stamp Set onto the Oval Focal!! Then I adhered the Oval Focal onto the Card Panel using Gina K Designs Foam Tape!!
