Spring Electro-Pop Neon Flock Canvas Instructions

Slip slap light blue and white acrylic paint onto a 5″ x 7″ flat artist canvas and let dry thoroughly.

Stencil designs onto each edge of the canvas using Gina K. Designs Petals & Wings and Crazy Daisy StampnStencil Detail Stencils and white acrylic paint (I wanted the Screamin’ Green Neon Flock color to stand out on the canvas so base-coated the stenciled area first with white paint).

Once the white paint is dry, line up the stencil directly over top of the stenciled design and apply Deco Foil Transfer Gel DUO onto the canvas with your Deco Foil Stencil Pal.  The DUO Transfer Gel doesn’t require any heat in order to transfer flock or foil, game changer!  Allow the DUO Transfer Gel to dry thoroughly, about 1 to 2 hours.

Apply a sheet of Screamin’ Green Neon Flock overtop of the dried DUO Transfer Gel (remember, fuzzy side down!) and burnish well to transfer the flock.  Peel away the backing paper to reveal your flocked stenciled designs (and keep the used flock transfer sheet to use on another project!).

Apply more Screamin’ Green Neon Flock to a piece of Deco Foil White Foam Adhesive and die cut some spring stems.

Apply Lime and Spring Green Deco Foil to more foam adhesive and die-cut greenery with a variety of floral dies.  Apply some of Rina K. Designs Screamin’ Green Neon Enamel Transfer Sheet to another piece of Deco Foil White Adhesive Sheet and die cut a couple more sprigs of greenery from it.  Tip: don’t peel off the backing sheet when applying the Rina K. Designs Enamel Transfer Sheet to the foam adhesive.  Leave it in place and simply die cut your desired shapes from the Enamel covered foam.

From one of the green Deco Foil covered foam sheets, die-cut the word ‘spring’.  Die-cut the word again from Gina K. Designs Black Onyx Premium cardstock and layer the foiled letters on top of the black with iCraft Ultra Bond adhesive, offsetting them slightly for a shadow line.  Adhere the layered letters along the top of your canvas with more Ultra Bond adhesive.

Apply three of the foiled die cuts to the canvas, trimming off the bottoms of the die cuts so that they are even with the edge of the canvas.

Apply the flocked greenery next, trimming off the bottom of the die cuts as needed.

And finally, adhere the enamel die cuts to the canvas with iCraft Ultra Bond adhesive and add a line of green glitter glue around all of the edges.  Your Spring Electro-Pop Neon Flock canvas is complete!

Here are a few closeups of the finished project.

I hope that you’ve enjoyed seeing how it came together and that you’ve been inspired to create with the new Electro-Pop Neon Flock Transfer Sheets from Rina K. Designs, add some color to your world!  Thanks as always for stopping by today and happy creating,

Deb xo
