It’s official! Spring IS in the air..although some of us still feel like it’s winter. Today Designer Daniela Dobson will show you how to use our Mixed Media Sheets to create some beautiful watercolor spring flowers. They’re the perfect accent for a card, layout or home decor piece! Once you start making these unique flowers with our Mixed Media Sheets…you’ll wonder why you didn’t sooner!

Tips on using watercolor with Mixed Media Sheets: little water goes a long way. Don’t oversaturate the brush or the area. Practice to see how the watercolor spreads. Once you saturate the area the color spreads, but the details are lost. It takes some time to dry, use a heat tool to speed up the process. Use colored pencils to add more detail to the images.  I love the “feathered” look of the edges.
