Hi there, I am Amy Warner of Sew Incredibly Crazy.  Here to show you how to create a more personal tote that can take only a few minutes and a little imagination.  My family and I love just about anything patriotic and with a few supplies, I was able to create this cutie.

USA Patriotic Totebag

The Supplies needed are:

HeatnBond® Lite Fusible Adhesive
Red and Blue Fabrics
A Premade Tote – this one was purchased at a local craft store for under $5
Coordinating thread – Aurifil white
Letters and or shapes that fit the desired area – This can be done by using Word or another computer program
Oliso Mini Iron

USA Totebag Pattern Instructions

Step 1:  Trace the pattern onto the HeatnBond® Lite.  If the pattern has letters on it, it will need to be reversed.  Personalizing the tote with initials and hearts would be a great gift for a bridal party.

Step 2:  Iron the fusible piece onto the fabric using an iron.  This is the newest Oliso mini iron.  I can’t say how much this little iron is loved.

Step 3:  Cut out the letters and/or shapes.  Arrange them onto the tote.  Remove the paper backing and iron in place.

Step 4:  Stitch around the fusible pieces.

Step 5:  Take the newly finished project out on the town.  Perhaps grabbing a quilt and head off to a picnic.
