Hi Friends! It is Dana Kirby here and I am so excited to be sharing a fun Valentine card and coordinating envelope with you all. Do you send out a lot of handmade cards for Valentine’s Day? It is one of my favorite holidays to create for! What better way to brighten someone’s day than with a card letting them know that you’re thinking about them.

I started my card by creating my background. I sprayed the back of the Pretty Pink Posh Love Background Stencil with Pixie Spray and attached it to my card panel. I then used the Deco Foil Stencil Pal to apply Glitz Glitter Gel in Red Velvet to my card panel.

Just look at that sparkle! So fun and easy to do!

Once my card panel was dry, I trimmed it down and attached it to a black cardstock mat. I then used the Pretty Pink Posh Love Shaker Die to die cut my heart. I backed my heart with a piece of vellum and attached it to my card front with iCraft Ultra Bond Adhesive. I have found this liquid adhesive works really well to adhere to something to a glittered background.  Lastly, I attached everything to an A2 card base with Gina K. Designs Adhesive Dot Runner.

Next, I created a coordinating envelope. I started by spraying the back of the Pretty Pink Posh Layered Heart Stencil with Pixie Spray. I then laid the stencil onto my envelope. Next, I used Purple Tape to mask off the part of the stencil I didn’t want to get the Glitter Gel onto.

I then applied Gina K Designs Glitz Glitter Gel in White to my envelope.

By masking the stencil I was able to apply the Glitter Gel to the bottom portion of my envelope, which allows me to still address and use the envelope. How fun will this be to get a decorated envelope in your mailbox?
