Hello there! It’s been a fun week so far collaborating with Whimsey Stamps! Today I am sharing a couple of cards I had a lot of fun creating. It’s no surprise that I am a coffee lover and when I saw the Coffee Break Clear Stamps set I knew I’d love creating with it.

Coffee Break Card

Here are the supplies I used to create today’s cards.

Coffee Break Card Instructions

This card was really fun to put together. First I started with BRUTUS MONROE DESIGNER TONER SHEETS • COFFEE RINGS.and our DECO FOIL™ TRANSFER SHEETS • PEWTER. I placed the transfer sheet over the toner sheet and ran it thru my laminator. Then I cut the sheet into two 4 1/3 x 5 1/3 sheets to adhere to my card bases.

I used some Tim Holtz distress inks to blend Shaded Lilac and Blueprint sketch onto the toner sheet. I started with the light color first and then adding the darker Blueprint Sketch color along the bottom and then blending the Shaded Lilac in the middle to make it gradient. The toner sheets are great for blending inks too!

Next, I cut the die cuts to make the coffee cup and stamped the image on the sleeve.

Then I stamped my sentiment on GINA K. DESIGNS PREMIUM CARDSTOCK • BLACK ONYX using white ink and embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I also cut a circle out of a contrasting piece of pattern paper. Now we have everything needed to assemble the card.

Using our STICKY TAPE MINI RUNNER™ and 3D WHITE FOAM STICKY STRIPS • 1/2 IN I adhered the circle and the coffee cup die and sentiment to my card base.

Using the same inked toner sheet, I created a second card using the same color scheme and different stamps from the set.

I did a little paper piecing with the coffee cup to match the first card. Then I adhered it to the stamped image and adhered that to the card base.

Using a variety of our products along with this fun Whimsey Stamps set was super fun. I hope you’ll give this ink blending over foiled toner sheets technique and try. Be sure and hashtag your posts with #thermoweb, #decofoil, and #Whimseystamps so we can see your creations!

Have a creative day!

Shemaine
